Guild Event - Naked Elf Run

Here we are at DC waiting for a few more to arrive. We decided to look for a group at the Fin tree in hopes of gaining a few more levels before we departed into the darkness of the Cursed Forest.

As you can see, we had a very hard time getting in a group. Most were very astonished to see such a large collection of level 1 elves at the fin tree. I don't think this has ever been done before. :)  There were many comments made. One of the most memorable was by far "What the hell!?"

Contestants! Start your sprint buttons! They were placed at the beginning of the river. We had a few technical difficulties, however. A few of our technicians were mauled by some dark steeds. The other obstacle course technician was mauled by an unearthed cave bear. This delayed the race by a matter of minutes only. Soon after everyone was rezzed, the race was once again in order.

On the signal of Wrath's whistle, the naked Avatars took off! They all headed towards the first tree, which is surrounded by Finlaiths. They soon turned back on course. Woops! :p

The forest poacher saw a few of them. You can see one going down in the distance. I believe the poacher was very excited.

Once reaching the top of the Spectral Manslayer tree, many avatars found a new friend. Others survived and ran back down towards the end of the river, and headed south again towards the finish line! Others decided to see what was on the other side of the hill, and quickly met death with a fast bash in the face.  Sometimes its just too late to say "Wrong way"

After the winner was declared, a new proposal was issued. ANYONE who got out of the forest alive that headed due West from the river and NOT along the zone wall, would receive 500 gold. Unfortunately, The observers were unable to fend of the swarms of Fomorians. No one survived. We all perished. :)d
