Links For Newbies and General Info

The Classes of Camelot - This is an excellent resource to get information about the various classes. See what skills you'll get for your class, at what spec/base level your character will receive them and what each does. You'll also find information on the attributes, spells, skills, and in-depth guides to help you play your character. A good site to help you start planning out your character so you don't end up gimping it.

Catacombs - An all-around great site to visit. Get information on the classes, item and crafting information, abilites, styles, maps, forums and more. The best feature on this site is the Character Builder. This tool allows you to see how a character progresses with regards to skill points, stats, spells and styles. It is an excellent resource for plotting characters out to a given level so you don't miss a spell or ability when allotting skill points.

Allakhazam - Good site to get information on classes, equipment, skills, zones, beastiery and quests. Although not all quests are listed on here, each has it's own forum base, so you can read helpful info from other players in finding that elusive mob. Another nice thing about this site is that it lists all the magic drops throughout the realm and keeps you up-to-date as new ones are added.

Camelot Stratics - This site contains guides to everything DaoC. Here you'll find useful guides for each class, the dungeons of each realm, guild management, a grouping guide, specialization guide, roleplaying guide, and much more in detailed info. A definite "must read" for new and old players alike.

Daoc Warcry - Looking for quest information and walkthroughs? Want to know what your fellow players are discussing? Then this is the site to visit on a reqular bases. Here you'll find news updates, detailed quest information and in-depth discussion forums for each realm.

Camelot Herald Guild DataBase - Search through the Camelot Herald's Guild Database for all the Guilds in each of the realms. Lists members in guild, their race/class, level, realm points, guild leaders/co-leaders, etc.

Camelot Vault's Lingo Guide - Confused about what AFK, IMHO, ADD, OOM and LFG mean? This lingo guide explains what all acronyms mean, so you'll be able to sling slavvy lingo along with the best of them.

Albion Messenger - Don't let the name fool you. This is a very useful, indepth guide for new players of any realm. It walks you through installing the game and configuring your keyboard to game commands, interacting with NPC's and creating seige weapons. A must read for new players looking for help.

Tradeskill Links

Catacombs - Even though I've listed this above for general sites, I just wanted to let you know that Catacombs has an awesome items list. Look under the Item Information box and choose your realm. It will list all the various armors and weapons. Click on what you are interested in and it will open a page that contains the list of items in that category, the AF or DPS, cost of making the item, initial cost of materials, the materials that you need, and what the vendor costs are. Very useful for crafters.

Camelot Tradeskills - Learn about each trade skill through their trade skill guides, FAQ's and spreadsheets. Find out where the materials are located in different towns, locate master crafters, view color fashion tables, see pics of the races of each realm and more.

Seige Craft Guide - One of the ultimate goals of many tradespersons in Dark Age of Camelot is the ability to craft huge war machines that can deal damage rapidly, destroying enemy fortifications and turning the tide of the conflict between the realms in their favor. This goal can be achieved. It is not easy, and it is not cheap. It is possible. This guide will show you how.
