RULES:

  • Buffs:
Buffs are only allowed if both dual participants agree to it. If one doesn't agree or want it, then neither will be buffed. If both agree to buffs, then one druid will pass full buffs to both participants.

  • Procs and charges:
Procs and charges will be permitted. There are no rules against them.

  • Master Abilities:
All Master abilities will be permitted in the 30 second "before you fight" window. No other self buffs/spells can be cast until that window is available.

  • Realm Abilities:
Realm abilities are permitted. There is no exclusion. Please note that some RAs end the duel (ex: Negative maelstrom). If you have it, it is basically considered a part of your self-buff system. Heros that use the Moose ability is just the same and will be permitted. If you wish to have a non-passive RA-free duel, both contestants must agree BEFORE the duel begins. Otherwise any activation of a RA automatically disqualifies you from the tournament.

  • Pets:
Pets are to an enchanter as stealth is to a nightshade. Asking either one of these classes to do without their player-designed abilities is bogus. If you are a druid, enchanter, or a light mentalist, I suggest casting / charming a pet. This will be permitted. Although this does give an advantage over other classes, it seems unfair to say "Enchanters can't use pets.". Therefore, all pet using classes will be permitted to use pets.

  • Stealth: Stealth will be permitted by all classes who can. There is nothing wrong or unfair about this, its part of their class makeup.

  • Fair Fight: You do what it takes to win. As funny as it sounds, running from your opponent might just get you that win. As long as you don't violate the rules you will remain in good standing. However, if you break any of the rules during a duel you will be disqualified from the tournament.

  • Register: If you are participating on attending the event, you need to register on this website. If you are NOT registered, you will NOT be included in the tournament. The way the duels will be assigned is DEPENDANT on the submission of your entry.

  • Multi-Characters: You can register as many 50s as you have, but each 50 can only be registered once.

  • Entry Fees: N/A

  • If a Duel Accidentally Ends: If something happens and the duel ends suddenly and abruptly, the duel will be considered null. The players will immediately reinitiate the duel. If it was a realm ability or any other type of spell/self-casted action that ended the duel it will not pose a threat any longer. GTAOE's are a sure-fire way to end a duel. Do not use these. If you know of any other things that end a duel, please submit them so they can be posted.

  • Bounty Point Crystals:  BP crystals are legal! They have been in the game for a LONG period of time, and have a very nice LONG FAT timer on them. I would equip a few for every duel. Just a tad bit of life might save your life!

  • Potions:
Potions are allowed. Basically - Anything you use in RVR will be allowed.

  • Grouping while Dueling:  You must not be in a group while dueling. Not only will it end the duel, but it is considered cheating. Before you duel, an AA referee will invite you to join his/her group and will inspect your buffs. Do not buff until you get in the group with the AA referee so they can see what buffs you have added. :)

  • Stay on the Ground:  You must remain on the ground at all times. This rule is for those who want to jump on the well or climb in the tower.

If for any reason there was an issue NOT discussed in the rule listing, please email AthenasWrath@AthenasAvatars.com.
