Guild Information

Athena's Avatars Guild was formed on June 20, 2002. We are located in the Realm of Hibernia on the Igraine Server. If you're looking for a great guild to join when playing the Dark Age of Camelot, please come see us online. We'd love to speak with you!

In this section you'll find information on the Officer's of the guild, guild commands, special guild nights, and guidelines for the members of the guild. Please read these and become familiar with them.

Officer Structure

The new officer system has been implemented. With the new design, there are 2 team leaders which oversee a team of seven each. The two teams are Avatar Omega and Avatar Alpha. Each team will be responsible for coming up with their own goals and accomplishing them. Each team will set the pace for the goals for the guild each week. If a member of the team is not participating or helping then the team members decided whether or not to keep him. This is a TEAM effort.

* Team members are pulled from the guild members that are active in the guild and on the forums. No exceptions.

* If the team members feel that the leader is not doing a good job, then they will petition the GM to have a vote session. If the votes are UNANIMOUS, then the leader will be asked to step down.

* If a team leader leaves the guild or goes inactive, then the team members will select a new team leader from within their team.

* Electing a GM: To select a new GM, someone must run for GM position. He must receive 15 votes from both teams and their leader. (16 in all). If more than 2 people vote no, then that person will not be GM.

Guild Guidelines

1) PLAY. Be on more than once a month! We want our guildies to be on more than seldom! I don't expect all of you to be on all the time. However, I would like to see you all more often.

2) BE COURTEOUS. Always show others respect.  Courteous people only make the game play much more enjoyable. Please exercise this!

Being kind and courteous to people in other guilds makes us look good. We want to look that way. Acting in anything other manner than this is frowned upon in this guild.  Bluntly put: If you act a jerk, you will not remain in the guild.

3) FEEDBACK. We want to know feedback. Are you happy? Is Athenaswisdom being mean? hehe I want to know these things. Anything you experience positive or negative I want to know. If you can do this as a group, together we can eliminate all sorts of problems. COME TO A OFFICER WITH ALL PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY! :)

4) HAVE FUN. Have a good time! Enjoy the game and the guild.

Alliance Guidelines

These are simple.
1) KINDNESS! Always be extra kind to alliance members.  Be sure to wave if you see an alliance member.  If you see they need help, attempt to help them as best you can as if they were in your own guild!

2) AVOID FIGHTS!  If there is a problem, do not cause a fight or a scene.  Tell an officer or a guild leader. Fights cause tension, tension causes anger, and anger leads to the dark side.  This is how alliances are broken and guilds become enemies!

3) NO PROFANITY.  Under any circumstance is anyone allowed to use profanity in alliance chat. Guild chat is different; alliance chat has many more ears (eyes, whatever :p).

4) MAKE NEW FRIENDS!  The sole purpose of an alliance is to expand the guild's friendship base.  You now have more people to hunt with; take advantage of this!

Special Guild Nights

Guild Meetings - Guild meetings will be held every other Sunday at 8 pm CT (9 pm EST, 7 pm MT, 6 pm PT) at TNN north bind stone. Please try to attend because that's when guild concerns, ideas, etc. are discussed and your input is wanted. If you can't make it, please let us know. Also, item hand-outs and promotions are done at this time. If you're not there, you'll miss out. We also have special guild events usually right after the meeting. A log of the meeting will be posted on our forums.

Guild Rank Promotions

Many people ask "How do I get promoted?"  The answer is "What have you done for the guild lately?" If you have helped others, then you will be helped. If you unselfishly use your time to better the guildies, then you run a high risk of being promoted. The higher in the ranks you become, the harder it is to move up simply because there aren't too many more ranks to achieve. My suggestion to the person who would like to become a high ranking officer is: Not only be a part of the guild, but work with the guild and help it and its members grow. Follow this and you will achieve much in the guild.

Also: if you have helped someone in the guild, let an officer know. As you do for them, we will do to you. Hard work and determination will be rewarded.
